SENSICARE C 1000 is a broad spectrum preservative in liquid form based on a combination of phenoxyethanol and the emollient of natural origin glyceryl laurate very effective controlling bacterial and fungal growth. The activity of the emollient acts on the surface tension of the microorganism cell membrane.

SENSICARE C 1000 is a low toxicity preservative that does not release formaldehyde. Is soluble in the water phase and organic phase reason why is compatible for microbial control of emulsions, creams, lotions and gels.

SENSICARE C 1000 is an excellent preservative for rinse-off and leave-on products such as detergent based formulations, hair conditioners, creams, lotions, mascaras and all kind of cosmetics and toiletries. Suitable for production of Eco-label cosmetics.

As general guideline, the typical dosage of SENSICARE C 1000 as preservative is in the range of 0,6% to 1,1% depending on the application. The optimum use concentration depends on the product to be protected and should be determined by the means of a challenge test. Our technical service can support you with complete microbiological tests.
