SENSICARE C 3300 is a broad spectrum preservative based on a combination of benzyl alcohol and natural origin emollient that boosts the
effectiveness of the conventional active ingredient interacting with the cellular membrane of the
microorganisms.
SENSICARE C 3300 is a preservative with very low toxicity recommended for the Eco-label and 0% formulations of cosmetics.
SENSICARE C 3300 has capability for protecting the vapour phase, being an excellent alternative to formaldehyde releasers and phenoxyethanol. It is highly soluble in water and solvent phase and it is therefore suitable for emulsions, creams, lotions and gels.

SENSICARE C 3300 is compatible with the majority of the raw materials used in cosmetic formulations with anionic, non-ionic and cationic surfactants. High
concentrations of surfactants may reduce its effectiveness.

SENSICARE C 3300 can be used as preservative for rinse-off cosmetics with dosages from 0.6% to 1.0%.
SENSICARE C 3300 can be used as preservative for leave on cosmetics with dosages from 0.8% to 1.1%, which is the maximum dosages allowed by the Cosmetic Directive 76/768/EEC.

Soluble in water and organic phase.
Its activity is not pH dependent.
Stable up to pH 6 and 80ºC.
